Reuters news on December 17 that the United Kingdom and the United States signed an agreement on customs procedures on Wednesday to ensure smooth trade between the two countries after Britain’s complete Brexit at the end of the year. Jesse Norman, Financial Secretary of the UK Treasury Department, said: “This is an important agreement to ensure the sustainability of the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union and demonstrate the solid relationship between the US and UK customs. This agreement will allow us to continue to crack down on customs by sharing information and good practices.
