The College Entrance Examination
The college entrance examination generally refers to the entrance examination for higher education, and there are three forms of admission examinations for colleges and universities, self-study exams and adult college entrance examinations. The college entrance examination is a qualification for candidates to choose a university and enter a university. It is also one of the national education exams.
The college entrance examination is organized and dispatched by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education or the provincial examination institute (examination bureau) proposition that implements autonomous propositions. June 7th and June 8th each year is the test day, and the provincial college entrance examination time is 3 days. The results of the college entrance examination directly affect the level of the university that can enter. The core premise of a college entrance examination is to obtain excellent college entrance examination results.
Starting from 2015, the college entrance examination will cancel six extra points for sports special students and Olympics. In 2016, 9.4 million candidates from the country participated in the college entrance examination.
In 2017, the content adjustment of the National Examination for College Entrance Examination increased the examination of traditional culture. There are 9.4 million candidates in the country to participate in the 2017 college entrance examination. Starting from June 22, the results of college entrance examinations across the country have been released. In November 2018, eight provinces (cities) of Jiangsu, Hubei, Fujian, Liaoning, Guangdong, Chongqing, Hebei, and Hunan were evaluated by the Ministry of Education to meet the conditions for the start of the new college entrance examination and were approved for launch. The reform of the new college entrance examination is mainly reflected in the selection of students and the form of admission. It is no longer divided into liberal arts, but three subjects are selected in six subjects, and then the number of words is added, referred to as "3+3 mode".
On April 23, 2019, as the third batch of pilot projects in the country to launch the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination, the province's college entrance examination comprehensive reform implementation plan was issued, and the first-year high school students enrolled in the autumn of 2018 began to implement.
