China-Africa Economic And Trade Cooperation Development Forum Shaoxing Held A Trade To Promote The Community Of Destiny

November 24th, the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation and Development Forum Shaoxing Summit was held in Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. More than 20 African-level ministerial guests and ambassadors to China gathered here. We will discuss economic and trade cooperation and further deepen the building of the community of fate between China and Africa. “Currently, the downward pressure on global economic development is still continuing. Asia and Africa, as emerging economies, have made significant contributions to stimulating the global economic balance.” In the view of Huo Jianguo, former president of the International Trade and Economic Cooperation Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce, China-Africa economic and trade cooperation is at the right time. Africa is an important participant in the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. In recent years, under the leadership of China-Africa comprehensive strategic partnership, China-Africa economic and trade cooperation has become increasingly close. At present, China has signed cooperation agreements with 43 countries in Africa, laying a good foundation for deep cooperation between the two sides. Statistics show that in 2018, the amount of non-trade in Zhejiang Province has exceeded 30 billion US dollars. Among them, Zhejiang Shaoxing vigorously guided enterprises into Africa with policies such as “Accelerating the Three-Year Action Plan for Local Private Multinational Corporations in Shaoxing”. Up to now, Shaoxing has invested in 143 projects with a total investment of 800 million US dollars, covering 25 countries in Africa. A group of companies such as Seiko Heavy Steel and Wolong Electric have brought Chinese technology and Chinese standards into the African engineering contracting market.
