Flame-retardant fabric we generally call is not burning in everyone's impression. Due to the cost of fiber flame retardant and finishing flame retardant, there are more flame retardants in domestic finishing.
The two main ways in which textile achieve flame retardant functionality:
First, the flame retardant having flame retardant function is added to the fiber through polymer polymerization, blending, copolymerization, composite spinning, grafting modification, etc., so that the fiber has flame retardancy.
Second, the flame retardant is applied to the surface of the fabric or penetrated into the interior of the fabric by a finishing method. These two ways give the fabric a different flame retardant link, and the effects are also different. At present, the best way is to modify the textiles with nano-materials and nano-technology. The cost is low and the effect is continuous. The softness and feel of the textiles have not changed at all, reaching the international first-class level.
In general, fiber flame retardant can make full use of flame retardant than fabric flame retardant, and its effect is more durable and softer. However, in practical applications, a plurality of flame retardants are often used, and the flame retardant effect is achieved by synergistic effects in two or more ways.
